NKY Chamber to host fireside chat with St. Elizabeth’s Garren Colvin during July Eggs ‘N Issues


Join the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce for a timely Eggs ‘N Issues: Sparking NKY’s Future – A Fireside Chat with Garren Colvin, on Tuesday, July 21, from 7:30-9 a.m. at Receptions Banquet and Conference Center – South, located at 1379 Donaldson Road in Erlanger.

Brent Cooper, NKY Chamber President and CEO, moderates a fireside chat with St. Elizabeth Healthcare’s President and CEO Garren Colvin. They will discuss the future of Northern Kentucky in light of America’s 250th anniversary, and will delve into leadership, vision, and momentum shaping our region’s next chapter.

Colvin has worked to advance healthcare across the region as part of St. Elizabeth for more than 40 years. The Ludlow native started with the region’s largest employer as a student co-op in the finance department and has since climbed the ranks with leadership roles which include becoming Chief Financial Officer in 2001, Chief Operating Officer in 2011, and President and CEO in 2015. Under his leadership, the hospital system has been recognized nationally, earning the #1 hospital ranking in Kentucky by U.S. News & World Report and a 5-star rating from CMS in 2024.

The former co-chairman of LifeSciKY’s Board of Directors, he has also served in leadership with the Northern Kentucky Chamber, Kentucky Hospital Association, Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky, Prichard Committee, among others.

“Celebrating America’s 250-year history is the perfect backdrop for a conversation about our region’s tomorrow,” said Cooper. “This Eggs ‘N Issues will bring the future into focus, exploring how we can lead the way in economic opportunity and regional vibrancy for generations to come.”

Eggs ‘N Issues: Sparking NKY’s Future – A Fireside Chat with Garren Colvin will begin on July 21 with attendee check-in, breakfast and networking from 7:30-7:55 a.m. The keynote presentation and audience Q&A session will follow until 9 a.m. Registration is $35 for NKY Chamber members and $45 for non-members and walk-ins.
