Similar to the passing of the Olympic Torch, Baseball Across the Region will count down to the 86th Major League Baseball All-Star Game on July 14 by passing an All-Star Summer baseball throughout Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky to highlight the region’s treasured neighborhoods, schools, businesses, non-profits and community attractions.
Rosie Red will make an appearance to support the Lady Saints.
The Community Organizing Committee (COC) was formed in partnership with the Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati USA Convention & Visitors Bureau to lead community efforts in preparation and support of All-Star Summer.
“Baseball Across the Region” is a subcommittee of the COC, and is being led by Brent Cooper of C-Forward and Ralph Dusing of Bluegrass Commercial Group.

About the Community Organizing Committee (COC):
The COC was formed to support local and community events and activities surrounding the 2015 Major League Baseball All-Star Game coming to Cincinnati July 2015. In cooperation with the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati USA CVB, the COC is responsible for creating a unique, exciting and memorable experience for visitors and locals in the Cincinnati region. This community engagement effort will provide incremental programming and activations, above and beyond the MLB sponsored events, to engage the largest audience possible for the 2015 All-Star Summer.
COC Committees and Volunteers
COC volunteers are organized into committees to fund and execute projects that will enhance the All-Star Game experience in Cincinnati. Committees include neighborhood engagement, business engagement, entertainment, hospitality, décor, transportation, volunteer coordination, communications and others.
