The Boone County Historical Society will participate in a special event to celebrate the 100 years of worship at the Petersburg Baptist Church.
The church is located at 6537 Market Street in Petersburg.
Pastor Steve Cable and members of the congregation will provide a history of the church at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 21.
The event is open to the public and is co-sponsored by the Boone County Public Library.
