Krohn Conservatory to hold Summer Celebration and ParkGames closing ceremony on Sunday, Aug. 21


Krohn Conservatory will offer a fun day for the celebration of the Summer Celebration and ParkGames Closing Ceremony on Sunday, Aug. 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Conservatory will remain open until 5 p.m.

• Join in at Krohn Conservatory for a fun day with Gnar Dog’s Hot Dog Stand food cart and crafts vendors including jewelry and framed butterfly art. 
• “Bee” sure to stop by the Krohn Gift Shop and check out all of the great garden and nature-inspired merchandise. 
• Visit the showroom and the Honey Bees in the Summer Breeze exhibit — its the last day for the Summer Floral Show!
• The Cincinnati ParkGames Closing Ceremony with also take place.

The first 2,000 to bring in a completed ParkGames card will receive a special gold prize! (a GOLD Carol Ann’s Carousel token).

Stop by and meet one of the Cincinnati Parks naturalists at the Explore Nature! table and learn about all of their programs and events.

You can play and be active too at the event, thanks to equipment donation powered by goVibrant. Enjoy kick balls, jump ropes, soccer balls, hula hoops, and corn hole sets. AND they will be giving away water bottles to the first 50 who stop by!

Cincinnati Parks has cancelled the LIVE music portion of the event, so DV8 will not be appearing as originally announced.

August 21 is also the last day of the highly popular Summer Show, “Honeybees in the Summer Breeze”
