Looking to clean out the house before the cold weather?
Kenton County Public Works is hosting its annual Fall Clean-Up September 29, 30 and October 1 at Lincoln Ridge Park at 420 Independence Station Rd in Independence.
Hours of Operation: Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Accepted items are garbage, appliances and up to four tires. The first four vehicle tires are free, afterwards it will cost $3 per tire.
Hazardous material and waste will NOT be accepted. Hazardous items include, but are not limited to, paint, household cleaners and pesticides.
Accepted materials also include car batteries, anti-freeze, small propane tanks and used motor oil, fibers (mixed papers), glass, plastics and metals.
Please bring help to unload as the locations are not always staffed to provide assistance. Clean-Ups are sponsored by Kenton County Fiscal Court.
