A man was found shot to death overnight in Covington.
The deceased has been identified as William Allen, 22 years of age, of Mason, Ohio.

The Covington Police Department issued the following statement regarding the incident:
At 2:56am Covington Police Officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Todd in reference to a non-responsive subject inside a parked vehicle.
Upon arrival a male subject was located slumped over in the driver’s seat of a vehicle and was found to have a gunshot wound to the chest. Medical personnel responded and pronounced the victim deceased. Kenton County Coroner and Covington Police Detectives were notified and responded.
Detectives are still in the process of notifying the victim’s next of kin.
The investigation is still ongoing. No further information at this time.
