Mike Denham: Thanks for all your support as legislative career ends — ‘not one time was I denied’

To the People of Bracken, Fleming, Mason and Robertson Counties:

Thank you so much for the honor and privilege to serve you in the General Assembly the last several years. This has been the opportunity of a lifetime and I humbly and sincerely appreciate your confidence in me.

I feel that together we have achieved some worthy goals and projects. I especially appreciate the fact that when I asked for assistance to achieve something, the people in all the communities I serve were there to lend a helping hand.

Not one time was I ever denied.

The truth is that I dearly love this job and the people that I’ve represented down through the years, which includes a small part of Lewis County for a short period of time.

I refer to the 70th District as the “best kept secret in Kentucky” because of its rich potential and great people.

I want to thank my friends of the Legislative Research Commission and my colleagues in the House of Representatives and Senate for their support and friendship. A special thanks to my family and especially my wife, Margaret, who has always “kept the home fires burning.”

To the Citizens of the 70th District, please accept my best wishes for the future and may the good Lord bless each of you.
