Thomas More College retired its old Tommy Mo mascot during halftime of the women’s basketball game last week — and rolled out the new one!
The old mascot entertained crowds at Thomas More College football and basketball games and special events since 2006.

A TMC spokesperson estimated that Tommy Mo performed at more than 330 sporting events — plus 11 years-worth of graduations, convocations, campus activities and community events.
The new Tommy Mo was introduced through a special routine performed by the Thomas More College Cheerleaders and Dance Team.
The costume was designed by a Student Government committee, with input from Student Affairs, Athletics and various members of the faculty and staff.
Two students, Andy Christianson and Emma Reno. who received Spirit Scholarships, take turns donning the oversized head and consume.
Emma came to Thomas More from Hillsboro High School in Ohio where during her senior year she was her school’s mascot, The Indian. Christianson was The Knight at Northwest High School before coming to Thomas More College.
Tommy Mo very much likes to go into the community to attend functions and events.
