Gov. Matt Bevin

The highlight of the first week back after a recess is Wednesday’s State of the Commonwealth Address by Gov. Matt Bevin. It is the second such appearance by Bevin of his administration.

The entire address will be live on Gov. Bevin’s official Facebook page and on Kentucky Educational Television.

Wednesday’s speech begins at 7 p.m. in the House Chamber of the State Capitol.

The legislative session is scheduled to end on March 30 following a 10-day recess to allow Bevin to consider any vetoes of approved bills. Legislators are back in Frankfort Tuesday at 4 p.m. following a four-week break. They elected leaders and passed five bills during their first week of action.
