THURSDAY, MARCH 30
PARKERELIZABETH was a beaten favorite last out but a return to her best form would make her to beat tonight. GYPSY TRICK drops in class and appears to be the main competition. CAT DANCING was also beaten as the favorite last out but ran well in her debut and is a definite threat.
RACE 2
SQUEEZE THE KING comes off of a win at this level and is capable of the repeat score with Ouzts back aboard for Larry Smith. ROUS also comes off of a win and has a solid local record. His best makes him a contender. FROST OR FRIPPERY looks dangerous but may be better at shorter distances.
RACE 3
KATE N ABS REWARD has been in the money in eight or her ten starts over the Turfway strip. She was disqualified from a win last out but if she keeps a straight course she figures to win this one. PUPPY ON A STRING was bothered by the top pick last out and was beaten just a length. She is the one to beat. MEGA SENNA looked good winning last out and is a contender.
RACE 4
POM POM POWER looked sharp winning her Turfway debut but failed to fire last out as the odds on favorite. Give her another chance tonight with Jimenez back aboard for Bert Crawford. CHEROKEE CALLIE has been running well and has six wins over this track. She is always dangerous. C O SISTER comes off of a nice win and fits with these.
RACE 5
TETRADRACHM has been idle since November but drops to the bottom for his return. Anything close to his best makes him a winner at this level. COZY KITTEN is a nine year old veteran who hasn’t won a race in quite a while but he has been facing better and looks like the one to beat. DISCREET GLEN didn’t fire last out but has the speed to be a contender tonight.
RACE 6
GUILTY STREAK drops back in for tag for Helen Pitts and appears to be in a good spot to pick up his maiden win with Gilligan aboard. SACRED PROMISE showed big improvement last out and a repeat of that one makes him dangerous. PRIVATE SPOT is a contender.
RACE 7
GIANT BREEZE has the speed to be on or near the lead throughout and looks best with Ouzts back aboard for Monica Krummen. BACK BEACH ROAD figures second best. CONGRATS TO CUCOS has had twenty chances to break his maiden but rates a shot.
RACE 8
IMPASSABLE CANYON has been running well against better and drops back in for a tag tonight. He looks like a good bet to win this one at short odds. AESOP has finished first or second in five of his last six races for Chip Brownfield and is the one to beat despite the class hike, PADDY NOT PATTY definitely fits with these if at his best but has been off since August and may need the race.
RACE 9
GOOSE SKYWALKER should be on or near the lead from the inside post and could be tough to catch tonight. JUDSONSPRETTYGIRL beat the top pick last out and should run well again. DIAMOND DANELLA is a contender in a fairly weak bottom claimer.
