Obituaries

Alma Elizabeth Chalk, 99, of Versailles, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024. She was a retired secretary with the Covington Board of Education. Alma is preceded in death by her husband, Earl George Chalk; parents, J.W. and Lillian Alford; siblings, William Alford, Dorothy Lemos and Margaret Hardy; daughter-in-law, June Chalk. She is survived by her son, Ralph Chalk; daughter, Joyce Knoble (Larry Kaiser); 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren. Alma will be truly missed by all that knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15 from 11AM – 1PM with funeral services following at 1PM at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Entombment will take place in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Alma’s name to the American Heart Association.
