Obituary For Almeda Mangold Rea
Almeda Mangold Rea, 100, formerly of Florence, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2026.
Almeda was born on December 1, 1925, in DeMossville, Kentucky, to the late Raymond and Flarra Mangold. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Harry Lee Rea; her son, Howard Mangold Rea and her sister, Rae M. Beasley.
She is survived by her children, Nancy Ann Boden (Hugh), Mary Elaine McCurdy (Robert), Michael Dennis Rea, and Linda Snyder (Duke); 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 U.S. Highway 42, Florence, Kentucky 41042, beginning at 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon, with burial immediately afterward at Gardnersville Cemetery.
