Obituary For Alvin Woodrow Setters
Alvin Woodrow Setters, 86, of Independence, KY passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026 at VillaSpring Care Center. Born on May 23, 1939, he was the son of the late Lee Setters and Grace Neuspickel.
Alvin retired from Cincinnati Gas & Electric (now Duke Energy) after many years of faithful service as an underground lineman. A simple man, Alvin lived minimalistically, some might even say after a spartan fashion. He lived a disciplined, quiet life, preferring to keep personal matters close to heart. Alvin did, however, allow a select few inside his world. Those few who knew him will miss and remember his memory.
A private committal service will be held for Alvin at Peach Grove Cemetery, Kentucky State Highway 154,Peach Grove, Kentucky 41006.
