Obituary For Amy Etta Mardis
Amy Etta Hodge Mardis, 53, of Alexandria, went home to be with the Lord on February 25, 2026. She was the daughter of Phyllis (Bingham) Hodge and Daniel Hodge.
She worked as a hospice caregiver. She was a member of CRHP at St. Joseph, Cold Spring. She proudly raised her children in the Catholic Church. She was a loving mother to her 8 children and 14 grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Aaron Mardis, Alyssa Mardis, Kara Mardis (Clinton Garrett), Christopher (Maria Dietz) Mardis, Micaela Mardis (Teddy Whitson), Juliana Mardis (Mason Askren), Kileigh Mardis, Caylee Mardis. Close family friend; Jack Thomas, as well as their father Robert Mardis. As well as Half Sister Melanie Carchedi. Grandchildren; Kasey, Levi, Camilla, Colten, Korbyn, Maverick, Everleigh, Sophia, Olivia, Ella, Aurora, Everleigh, Kinsley, and Emmy.
Visitation will be held on March 5th, 2026 4-7pm at Cooper Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 am on March 6th, 2026. Burial will be immediately following at St. Stephens Cemetery.
