Obituary For Angella George

Angella George passed away on April 24th, 2026 in Edgewood, Kentucky, at the age of 70.

A visitation will be held at Don Catchen & Sons funeral home in Elsmere, Kentucky, on Friday, May 1st at 11 am, with burial ceremony to follow at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.

Born in Dayton, Kentucky, on November 10th, 1955 to parents Ella and Roland Harris, Angella exhibited a passion for caregiving from a young age. She would go on to have a long career as a licensed practical nurse, where she aided the sick, elderly and disabled until her eventual retirement.

However, her love for helping others never wavered. Always on call to lend advice, provide support, or offer a sympathetic ear, and, as her two precious chihuahuas can attest, give the best belly rubs on the planet.

Angella is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert George, her five children: Mary Hiles, Linda George, Robert George, Christy George, and Joseph George, eleven grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Angella is also survived by her sister, Diana Burger, and her brother, Roland Jay Harris Jr.

Angella will be joining her eldest daughter, Ella George, her sisters Debbie Gross and Linda Bennett, and parents, Ella and Roland Harris, in the hereafter.

Angella’s kind, nurturing, charitable spirit will sorely be missed by all those fortunate enough to have known her.
