Obituary For Anita Jiovanni Myers
Anita Jiovanni (née Ciafardini) Myers, age 101, of Highland Heights, Kentucky, passed away on September 13, 2026.
Anita was born on November 22, 1924, in Welch, West Virginia, to Giovanni Ciafardini and Carmina (née Lalungo) Ciafardini.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Rosa, Lena, William, Joseph, Nicholas, Pat, Gilda, and Gloria.
Anita is survived by her daughters, Barbara Ryan, Carmella “Decca” Buechel, and Donna Zornes; grandchildren, Bridget Donovan, Rick Buechel, Holly Ryan, Tina Ryan, Billy Ryan, Angela (Brett) Spaulding, Annie (Adam) Spaulding, Dan (Sarah) Zornes, Joey (Lisa) Zornes, Ashley Ryan, Stacy (Eric) Ridpath, and Laura (Alex) Kenney; 33 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, 427 South Fort Thomas Ave., Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home, with Rev. Ross Kelsch officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. at the Wilder City Building.
