Obituary For Anna Helen Grau
Anna Helen Grau, 87, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, in Edgewood, Kentucky.
Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Ann loved playing games with friends and families, crafting, collecting, particularly glass art, celebrating holidays, and taking bus trips with her friends. She also had a special place in her heart for animals and enjoyed the companionship of canine friends. She, along side Jim, built Harry Grau and Sons Inc. from pony keg into a multi-generational family-owned petroleum equipment installation and service business, providing for decades administrative support in an ever changing industry. Ann was a longtime member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, where she attended for over 40 years.
Ann will be remembered for her love of family, her caring heart, and her mischievous sense of humor. Hold on to the memories. They will hold on to you.
Ann is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Jim Grau; her two sons, Daryl Grau (Susan) and Kevin Grau (Stina); her brothers, Jim, Frank, and Wayne; her grandchildren; Eric, Alex, Madelyn, and Nielsen “Ben”; and five great-grandchildren, Londyn, Joey May, Xavier, Elly Jude, and Birk.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Farwell and Audrey Farwell; her stepmother, Viola Farwell; and her three sisters, Audrey, Jeannie, and Debbie.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. The family asks that you join them for a reception after the burial here at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A.
