Obituary For Annette Sebastian

Annette Sebastian, née McNay, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026, in Morning View, Kentucky. Born on September 27, 1930, in Williamstown, Kentucky, Annette lived a life marked by her dedication to family, her love of nature, and the simple joys that enriched her many years.

Annette was a woman who found deep happiness in tending her garden, nurturing the vibrant flowers that brought her such pride and peace. She cherished the quiet moments spent fishing, delighting in the serenity of the water, she spent many hours on jigsaw puzzles with her daughter, and was known for her enthusiasm for exploring yard sales and the sunny allure of the Florida Keys. Annette was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and watched their games every chance she got. These hobbies enriched her life and those around her, creating fond memories shared with loved ones.

Above all, Annette’s proudest accomplishment was her family. She leaves behind a loving legacy through her daughter, Rita Sebastian; her sons, Phillip (Debbie) Sebastian and Dayle (Linda) Sebastian; and her grandchildren – Tracy Miley, Holly Jett, Amie Schlachter, Crystal Heflin, and Jeffrey Sebastian. Her family extends further to include beloved great-grandchildren: Landon, Christopher, Caitlin, Jaxon, Kira, Leah, Cameron, and Korinne, each a living testament to the warmth and devotion she so freely gave. Alongside them are numerous other family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

Annette was predeceased by her father, Guy McNay; her mother, Lorene McNay (née West); her husband, Dewey Sebastian; and her brothers, Guy McNay, Jr., Wilfred (Ruby) McNay and Theodore McNay. Their memories live on in her heart and those of all who knew her.

Her life was one of gentle strength and enduring love. Annette Sebastian’s presence was a blessing to those fortunate enough to know her, and her spirit resides in the countless lives she touched through kindness, laughter, and steadfast support. She will be remembered with profound respect and affection by all who had the privilege of her company.
