Anthony “Tony” William Charles Marston Sr., age 79, of Butler, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025. Born to Charles and Loretta (Nickley) Marston.
A hardworking man with calloused hands and a generous heart, Tony spent his career in roofing—what he fondly referred to as “the trade.” He could fix just about anything and was always ready to lend a hand. Tony never met a stranger; his warmth and easygoing nature made everyone feel like family.
Tony was a devoted member of the Knights of St. John, 2nd Twelve Mile Baptist Church, and The Bridge, where he found deep joy and connection with his church family. His faith was a cornerstone of his life.
He had a passion for hunting and a lifelong love of Lionel trains, which brought him great joy and nostalgia. Whether tinkering in the garage or sharing stories over coffee, Tony’s presence was a gift to those around him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved daughters, Cindy Marston and Regina Krzeminski; sisters Linda Mullins and Marquetta Marston; brother Michael Marston; and grandchildren Kaleb Marston and Amber Krzeminski.
Tony was survived by his only son Anthony Marston (JoAnn); brothers Richard Marston (Brenda) and Patrick Marston (JoAnn); brother-in-law Kenny Mullins; and grandchildren Donovan Marston and Sean Marston. Bonus grandchildren Brittany Rose, T.J. Rose and bonus great grandson Tucker Rose.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Tony’s life at a visitation on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Cooper Funeral Home in Alexandria. The Service will be at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow at Williamstown Cemetery.
