Obituary For Ashley Nichole Keen

Ashley Nichole (née Battaglia Branham) Keen was called home by our Lord and Savior on January 28, 2026.

Ashley was born on September 25, 1986, to Angela Branham Smith and Billy Battaglia.

Ashley had the sweetest soul and a smile that truly lit up the world. She had a heart that made everyone her priority. She never met a stranger and always gave of herself freely, making those around her feel seen, valued, and loved. To know Ashley was to love Ashley.

She was an amazing daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, and niece, and her love for her family was evident in everything she did.

Ashley leaves behind to carry on her light her mother, Angela (Dave) Smith Pace; her daughter, Kaylee Keen; her brothers, Chris (Lisa) and Nick Branham; her stepbrothers, Jake (Autumn) Pace and Justin Pace; her uncle, Jim (Joann) Branham; her maternal grandmother, Elva Barnett; her cousin, Taylor Branham; and many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Battaglia; her grandfather, John Barnett; and her paternal grandmother, Nancy Battaglia.

A visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Bullittsburg Baptist Church in Petersburg, Kentucky. Ashley will be laid to rest following the service in the church cemetery.

Ashley will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Ashley and her beautiful heart. I just recently have met her mother Angie and her beautiful heart. The Bible calls us to "mourn with those who mourn". (Romans 12:15b NIV) My heart aches for Ashley's loved ones. " The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit". (Psalm 34:15 NIV) I'm praying fervently that you can feel the presence of our Lord holding you closely. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted". (Matthew 5:4 NIV) I am here to help in any way I can. Cooking, cleaning, errands etc... and of course just being present if you wish not to be alone. In the Name above all names, Jesus Christ. Love, Teresa (Terry) Reilly

Ashley was an amazing person & coworker. Always kind, welcoming, and friendly. I loved working with her at Easterseals Redwood. Sending caring thoughts to her family and friends.
