Obituary For Awanda Elizabeth Boss
Awanda “Wanda” Elizabeth Boss (nee Barbiea), 96, 0f Hudson, FL, formerly of Alexandria, KY, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in Hudson, FL. She was born April 10, 1930, in Cincinnati, OH.
She was a homemaker. Wanda was a member of The Church of the Isles, Indian Rock Beach, FL, Ladies of the Elks, Largo, FL, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Largo FL and VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Largo FL.
Awanda was preceded in death by her husband, Muriel “Skip” Boss; her parents, George Harry and Ida (nee Kelch) Barbiea; and her brother, George Barbiea.
She is survived by two sons, Barry (Bonnie) Boss and Scott (Patti) Boss; two grandchildren, Heather Boss and Brandon Boss and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. Interment in the Alexandria Cemetery. Alexandria Funeral Home entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
