Obituary For Barbara Jean Hendricks
Barbara Jean Hendricks, 77, of Newport, KY passed away on June 10, 2026. She was born on July 1, 1948, to her parents Robert and Betty (Carter) Ewing.
She worked as Clerk for the DAV for 28 years. Barbara loved her grandkids and enjoyed having family get togethers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Don Hendricks; daughter, Shirley Solorza; brothers, Robert Ewing and Michael Ewing; and sister, Candance Garland.
She is survived by daughters, Cindy (Jim) Lambert, Pamela (Gary) Kammerer; sons, Joseph Powers and Elmer Powers; bothers, Wesley Ewing, Jimmy Ewing and Henry Ewing; sisters, Dorothy Searp, Connie Beckwith, and Belinda Borcher; grandchildren, Jimmy Lambert, Sara Lambert, Barbara Schuchart, Ervin Schuchart, Nathan Solorza, Amber Tiemeyer, Katherine Tiemeyer, Kenneth Tiemeyer Jr., Tyler Tiemeyer, Ava Tiemeyer and Delilah Powers; and 8 great-grandchildren.
The services will be private for the family. Burial will be at Persimmon Grove cemetery.
