Obituary For Barbara Louise Stinnett
Barbara Louise Stinnett (nee. Parrott), 88 of Alexandria and formerly of Ft. Thomas, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at the Seasons of Alexandria. Barbara was born on December 7, 1937 to Ray & Dorothy (nee. Lukens) Parrott.
She was a homemaker and sales clerk at JCPenney. Barbara was a very active member of her community, including at Christ U.C.C. teaching Sunday School for many years and being an active volunteer in the Ft. Thomas school system.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Stinnett; son, Alan Stinnett; and brothers, Earl, Walter & James Parrott, and sister, Lois Parrott.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Bob) Blau & Amy (Jay) Wainscott; son, Pete (Terri) Stinnett; brother, Ray Parrott, Jr.; sister, Janet Newberry; 9 grandchildren, Debra Jo, Emily, Lindsey, Jennifer, Nik, Megan, Amanda, Christi, Joe, and 13 great-grandchildren; Elijah, Emma Rose, Jacob, Isaac, Savannah, Holly, Liam, Leland, Ella, Justin, Mateo, Marissa & Wes. Barbara’s greatest joy in life was being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m., with the Funeral Service to follow at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 25th at Christ Church United Church of Christ, Ft. Thomas. Barbara will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate. Memorials are suggested to Ruth Lyons Children's Fund, P.O. Box 59, Cincinnati, OH 45201.
