Obituaries

Beverly Sue Gemmer Spicer, 68, of Foster, Kentucky, was a loving mother and best friend. Born on October 15, 1957, in Covington, Kentucky, she went home to be with the Lord on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025.

Sue was a machine operator at Adkins–Pearce, where she worked alongside many friends and family members. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she especially enjoyed collecting nutcrackers.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Gemmer; her mother, Betty West Gemmer Teegarden Scott; her brothers, Glen “Skip” Gemmer Jr., Bobby Gemmer, Bruce Gemmer, and Gene Teegarden; her sister, Kathy Teegarden Cole; grandson Justin Back and her loving son, Jeffrey Dolwick, who passed on December 21, 2025.

Sue is survived by her husband, Ed Spicer; her daughters, Sherry Iles and April (Eric) Wilson; her son, Raymond (Kim) Back Jr., daughter in law Julie Dolwick; brothers, Mike (Kim) Gemmer and Ricky (Kelly) Teegarden and sister-in-law Barb Gemmer; and 16 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Cooper Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Peach Grove Cemetery.
