Obituary For Bill J. Lawson
It is with great sadness to announce that Bill J. Lawson passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 89 years of age in Camp Springs, KY.
Beloved husband of Sylvia A. (Davis) Lawson, who predeceased him.
Loving father of Steve (Penny) Lawson and Cheryl (Peter) Thomas. Devoted grandfather of Spencer, Amanda, Amy, and Lindsey. And doting great grandfather of Haylee, Benjamin, and Lillian.
Preceded in death by his siblings Jack, Lois, Alma Sue, Shirley, Dorothy, and Jerry.
Bill was a long time member of the Greater Cincinnati Deaf Club and the Tennessee School for the Deaf Athletic Association.
A private family service will be held in Independence, KY and Ripley, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
