Obituary For Bonnie Sue Williams

Bonnie Sue Williams, 69, of Elsmere, a cherished matriarch and beloved friend, departed from this world on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 25, 1956, in Fort Thomas, Bonnie lived a life filled with love, laughter, and the pure joy of family.

Bonnie was the heart of her family, a nurturing presence with an unwavering passion for her kids and grandchildren. She devoted herself to creating memories and moments that would stay with her loved ones forever. Bonnie’s love for her grandchildren knew no bounds; she delighted in their lives and took immense pride in watching them grow. Her hugs, words of encouragement, and infectious laughter will echo through the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was married to Doug Williams June 29, 1974, who preceded her in death September 12, 2024.

Bonnie is survived by her stepsons Bill Haverland and Brad Barthel, her daughter Sherry and husband Jeff Hart, daughter Laura Williams, son Jerry Williams and wife Becca, who will forever carry her love and lessons. Bonnie also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews whose lives she touched profoundly.

She is lovingly remembered by her sisters Connie Grothaus (Steve) and Laura Ostholthoff (Don), as well as her brother Danny Kuhl. Her sister-in-law, Mary Ross (George), also grieves her absence. Bonnie joins her parents, Harry Kuhl and Elsie Wilson Kuhl, many siblings, and her late son, Robert Williams, in eternal rest.

Visitation for Bonnie will be held on January 19, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Covington, KY, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. This gathering will celebrate a life that has given so much love and warmth to those fortunate enough to be a part of it. Entombment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

As we bid farewell to Bonnie Sue Williams, we find comfort in the memories we have of her radiant smile and her boundless love. She may be gone from our sight, but forever, she will linger in our hearts.
