Obituary For Carl "Bud" Wesley Fowler

Carl (Bud) Wesley Fowler, 97, of Fort Thomas, passed away on April 28, 2026. He was the retired Owner of Buds Standard Service Station in Dayton. Bud was a Korean War Army Veteran, a member of the Robert Burns Masonic Lodge F&AM., a Ky Colonel, a Gideon and a Deacon at the First Baptist Church of Dayton KY.

Bud was born on April 10th, 1929 in Dayton, Kentucky to George Wesley and Edith Dorothy (Scheller) Fowler.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Lois Jo (Lane) Fowler, brother George Fowler, sisters Dottie Auteri, Margie Cruse, Catherine Smith, Edna Mae Fowler, Betty Fowler, Joan Clark and Carol Plumley. Bud is survived by his daughter Cammi (Late Bob) McGlone (Chris Buemi), granddaughter Maggie McGlone (Jack Armstrong) and sister Nancy Bechtol.

Visitation will be from 8:30 am to 9:45 am, Saturday, May 2, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Dayton, Funeral Ceremony will follow at 9:45 am at the church. Burial will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery Southgate, Kentucky.

Memorials are suggested to the Shriners Childrens Hospital, 2900 N Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607 or First Baptist Church of Dayton 501 Dayton Avenue Dayton, KY 41074.
