Obituary For Carol Ann Grosser

Carol Blank Grosser, 86 years of age, passed away Monday, May 18, 2026.

She was the daughter of Elmer F. and Cecilia Hilbert Blank, deceased, wife of David A. Grosser, deceased, mother to Stephen A. Grosser, Sally G. Kaufman, (Kent, deceased), Christopher J. Grosser, (Molly, deceased), and Peter J. Grosser, (Nicole).

Carol leaves ten grandchildren: Allison Kaufman Gerhardstein (Brian), Brad Kaufman (Stacey), Jack Grosser (Paige), Dr. Sarah Grosser Lonneman (Ken), Maree Grosser (Tony), Ellee Grosser, Alisha Grosser Franklin (Brandon), Benjamin Grosser, Kayla Grosser, and Andrew Grosser; and six great-grandchildren: Jacob Gerhardstein, Noah Grosser, Caroline Grosser, Liam Grosser, Cameron Lonneman, and Cooper Lonneman.

A devoted mother, Carol postponed her career as a flower shop owner and floral designer until her children were school age. An avid reader, she also dabbled in landscape and portrait painting, gardening, and cooking. Her love for writing spurred a column on flowers and plants for a local newspaper. After 33 years, she traded floral design for fiction writing, penning five women’s fiction and time travel novels. If not outdoors in the sunshine, she could be found in the family kitchen prepping meals or baking desserts.

The funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, send donations to any Catholic Charity, the American Diabetes Association, or the Molly Brennan Grosser Scholarship Fund in care of Notre Dame Academy 1699 Hilton Drive, Park Hills, KY 41011.
