Carol Sue Groves, 65, of Covington, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Born in Dayton, Kentucky, on April 5, 1960, she was the beloved daughter of Aliene Evans and the late Roy Evans.

Carol was a woman whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—dancing, singing, and spending quiet moments working on paint-by-number creations. She especially loved having her nails painted, a small ritual that brought her happiness and reflected her vibrant spirit.

Known for her caring and selfless nature, Carol always put others before herself. She was a true silver lining in the lives of those around her, offering comfort, laughter, and unwavering support. Her pure heart and joyful presence made her a delight to be around, and her smile—paired with her quick jokes—had a special way of brightening even the darkest days.

Carol will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will live on in the hearts she touched.

In addition to her mother, Aliene, Carol is survived by her daughters: Crystal Groves, Diamond Groves, and Monica Fetters; sons: Russell Evans and Bradford Carroll; sisters: Angela Kreig and Wanda Shannon; brother: Roy Evans; and 20 grandchildren.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
