Carole B. Somers, 82, of Union, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Samuel and Hazel Johnson. Carole was preceded in death by her cherished daughters, Kelly Mallery and Joni Blair, and by her beloved dog, Lizzie.

She is survived by her loving granddaughter, Racheal Perry, and grandson, Ronal Perry, Jr.; her treasured great-granddaughter, Dominique Williams; her dear sister, Sandra F. Hodges; her niece, Tracy Blair Hodges; and her faithful companion, her loving dog, Molly.

Carole will be fondly remembered for her competitive spirit, especially while playing board games with her family. She was generous, intelligent, and witty, with a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed puzzles, reading, and arts and crafts, and took great pleasure in spending time with those she loved. Carole also worked for many years as an escrow officer in real estate, where she was known for her knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail.
