Obituary For Casey Michael Ronald Boswell

On Wednesday, December 31, 2025, Casey Michael Ronald Boswell passed away at the age of 69. He was born on July 18, 1956, in Covington, Kentucky, to Fred Carl Boswell Sr. and Jennie Seed Boswell, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Howard Boswell, Roy Boswell, and Gary Boswell and sister-in- law, Lisa Smith Boswell. Due to ongoing health challenges, Casey was forced to step away from his work.

Casey was a funny and wonderful storyteller who loved people, especially his family—and most of all, his Grandchildren, who were perfect in his eyes and with whom he cherished every moment. He had a way of lighting up any room with his stories and humor and was always full of kindness and love for others. Casey was the kind of person who would give you his last dollar or the shirt off his back if it were needed.
Casey had a great sense of humor and a lifelong love of sports, and stories are still told of his glory days playing basketball and football. He especially enjoyed betting on racehorses and took great pride in his handicapping skills. He never missed a chance to enjoy Jeopardy!

Casey believed in the Lord as his greatest source of strength and trusted deeply that He takes care of us always. He lived with gratitude and gave praise to God, a faith that guided and comforted him throughout his life. It was said that “there was a depth to Casey’s goodness that cheered others and brought them hope through laughter and the simple reminiscing of shared memories.” He will be remembered for the joy, laughter, humor, and love he shared with everyone around him.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Billiter Boswell; his sons, Travis Boswell (Jessica), Brannon Billiter (Karissa), and Ryan Billiter (Mandi), siblings: Shelley Mayberry (Mike) sister, Charles Boswell and Fred Boswell brothers, 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation will be held on Friday January 9, 2026, at Cooper Funeral Home in Alexandria, KY from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. The funeral service will begin at 7:00pm and burial will be private at Evergreen Cemetery.
