Obituary For Cecil Floyd Taylor

Cecil Floyd Taylor, 64, passed away on May 28, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and stories that will be shared for years to come.

Born on February 11, 1962, to the late Eugene and Rachel (Allen) Taylor, Cecil was a man who never met life quietly. He worked as a welder for more than 25 years and took pride in the work he did. He was a great mechanic, loved to work on and ride motorcycles.

Cecil had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor. His jokes were often dark, witty, and sometimes a little inappropriate, but those who knew and loved him wouldn't have wanted him any other way. He had a way of making people laugh when they least expected it and could always find humor in life's ups and downs.

Above all else, Cecil loved his family. Nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with his grandchildren. His seven grandbabies were the light of his life, and he treasured every moment he shared with them. He was fiercely protective of them.

He leaves behind his daughter, Rachel Taylor; son, Logan Stilt; his siblings, Michael Taylor (Marlene), Walter Taylor (Kimberley), Mavis Smith (Larry), James Taylor, and Gary Taylor; nieces and nephews and his seven beloved grandchildren.

Though his family will miss his laughter, his stories, and his unique outlook on life, they take comfort in the memories they shared and the love he gave so freely. Cecil's legacy lives on in the family he cherished and in the countless smiles he brought to those around him.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
