Obituary For Charles Roth
Charles Melvin Roth “Mel” of Melbourne Ky, passed away peacefully one day before his 95th birthday. He was the son of John and Edna (Hetterman) Roth. Mel was a proud Army vet of the Korean war and shared his experience in Alaska with all his family and friends.
He will be remembered for his love of Xavier basketball, Dixie chili, Sis’s on Monmouth, country music, and his unmatched quick wit and humor.
He is preceded in death by his parents John and Edna Roth, wife LouAnn (Otten) Roth, siblings Donald, David, and Kathleen Roth, and numerous friends he made along the way. He was the last of his family’s generation. He is survived by five children Cindy (Roger) Brown, Mark (Rose Studer) Roth, Terrie (Charlie) Smith, Kim (Bob Burns) Keller, Linda (Dennis) Beal.
