Obituary For Cheryl Louise Miller
Cheryl Louise Miller, née Glenn, 61, of Piner, KY, passed from this life to the next under the loving gaze of family at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood, KY on April 29, 2026. She was born in Covington, KY on September 9, 1964, the daughter of William Mack Glenn, Sr. and Shirley Glenn.
Cheryl attended Lloyd High School and first called Erlanger home as a youngster. She worked 26 years as a senior coder for Burke, Inc. until her retirement in 2023.
An outgoing person through and through, Cheryl’s number one objective in life was to have fun. You rarely saw her without one of her many tie dyed shirts on. She enjoyed line dancing and singing a few chosen karaoke songs with her signature dance moves, but her favorite thing to do was to travel and to sit and listen to the ocean. The innate joy, wonder and curiosity of babies and small children was something extremely dear to Cheryl. “She never met a baby she didn’t like,” Cheryl’s family said.
Cheryl was the loving wife and partner of Tim Miller for almost 41 years; treasured mom of Chris (Melissa) Miller, Katie (Christopher) Smith and Michelle Miller (Kevin Kubiak); sister of Kelly Blanchet and Billy Mack Glenn, Jr.; daughter of Shirley Glenn; and devoted grandma to grandchildren Olivia Miller, Corey Templeton, Louise Smith, Dexter Kubiak and Benjamin Smith who is on the way. Cheryl’s silly smile and bright countenance will be missed additionally by many other extended family members and good friends.
All are welcome to attend the funeral mass which will be celebrated at St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, 5313 Old Madison Pike, Independence, KY, 41051 on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Directly after the mass will be lunch and get together time with the family. Cheryl will be cremated in a private ceremony, returning to rest at home.
Cheryl’s family will be holding a Celebration Of Life Party (tie dye attire recommended but not required!) this summer.
