Obituary For Chester Ray Todd
Chester Ray “Buddy” Todd, 64, of Edgewood, KY, passed away on November 21, 2024. Born in Covington, KY, on February 4, 1960, Buddy was known for his kind heart, his dedication to helping others, and his love for music.
Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Todd and Chestine Clayton, step-father Henry Clayton and his nephew, Chaz Michael McDaniel. He is survived by his sisters, Conna Rauen (Tom) and Michelle Tester (Duane Mosley), his nephew Kevin Thacker, and his daughter Felicia Todd (fiancé’ Debbie Hoplight), as well as a host of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Buddy had a heart of gold, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, though his kind nature sometimes got him into trouble. He was an active member of his church, a talented guitarist, and a passionate lover of gospel music. He enjoyed singing and playing his guitar, finding joy in sharing his talents with others. Buddy also had a special bond with his dog, Zoe, and was deeply saddened by the passing of his beloved cat, Mau Mau.
Buddy’s spirit and generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He will be remembered for his selflessness, his love of life, and his unwavering faith. He touched many lives, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
