Obituary For Christina C. Warning

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness we announce the passing of Christy C Warning, 61, of Burlington Ky. Christy passed away peacefully with family and her caregiver Stephanie on Thursday, April 9th, 2026 at her home.

From a young age, Christy found joy in being surrounded by her siblings and their friends. She loved being part of the action and quickly became a cherished presence in the Warning family, especially when visitors were around. Her laugh, warm smile & spirit made her someone everyone adored.

Christy shared a special bond with her nieces and nephew. She spent countless happy days watching them ride bikes, draw with chalk, and run around, and she delighted in attending festivals with them. One of her greatest joys was playing games—especially beating them at UNO.

Christy recently celebrated an incredible milestone of 40 years working at Redwood/Easterseals, where she formed many meaningful friendships over the years. She truly loved being part of that community. In recent years, Christy found great happiness living with her caregiver, Stephanie, and her family. Stephanie was far more than a caregiver—she was Christy’s best friend. She devoted endless love and care to Christy, spending hours doing her hair, painting her nails, playing games, and taking her on special trips, including visits to the beach that brought Christy so much joy.

Christy was preceded in death by her loving parents, Karen C. Warning and Wayne L. Warning, and her brother, Wayne L. Warning.

She is survived by her brother, Randy Warning; her sister, Julie (Dion) Feagan; and her five beloved nieces and nephews: Megan, Emily, and Alex Warning, and Isabella and Macy Feagan.

Visitation will be held from 9:00–10:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Blessed Sacrament Church in Fort Mitchell. Burial will follow at Mother of God Cemetery in Covington.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Redwood/Easterseals, 71 Orphanage Road, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017, or to The Point Arc of Northern Kentucky, 104 W. Pike Street, Covington, KY 41011.

Christy’s life was filled with love, laughter, and simple joys. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her. Swindler & Currin Funeral Home is serving the family.
