Christopher Brandt Thomas, age 60, of Taylor Mill, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026.

Born into a loving family, Chris was the son of the late Reginald V. Thomas Sr., who preceded him in death, and is survived by his mother and stepfather, Judith (Carnahan) Baldwin and Dan Baldwin.

Chris was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Faye (Anderson) Thomas. Together they shared many wonderful memories together. One of their favorite memories was a week's long trip out west that remained close to their hearts.

Family was the center of Chris's life. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brothers, Eric (Dena) Thomas, Reggie (Vicki) Thomas Jr., and Greg (Beth) Thomas, and his sisters, Lisa (Steve) Jones and Kim Thomas; stepchildren including Jackie Jo Wayman, Greg (Ashley) Freyler Jr., and Jennifer Bowman. In addition, he is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and stepchildren and step grandchildren. He also shared a special bond with his honorary grandson, Ollie Elliott-Bainbridge.

He was a dedicated and hardworking employee of Regal Rexnord, where he took great pride in his work. Outside of his career, Chris enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and being outdoors. He found joy in creating things with his hands and took satisfaction in making his home and yard beautiful.

Chris will be remembered as a good husband, a loving family man, a hardworking provider, and a loyal friend. He was a great storyteller and keeper of much family history and lore. His kindness, steady presence, and love for his family will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 3285 Mills Road, Taylor Mill, Kentucky 41015, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., with burial to follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.

The family extends their gratitude to all who have offered prayers, support, and condolences during this difficult time.
