Obituary For Dale Richard
Dale Richard, 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. He was born on July 17, 1949, in Evergreen, Alabama to the late William Richard and Della Harper.
Dale proudly served in the United States Air Force for 21 years before retiring. He later worked for Mayflower for several years as a truck driver. His service as a United States veteran meant a great deal to him. Dale loved to fish and was one of the biggest Alabama football fans around. His favorite words were “Roll Tide!” He also enjoyed listening to old country music and watching classic westerns in his downtime. Dale was a wonderful soul who never met a stranger. He was one of the friendliest people you could ever meet, fiercely loyal to his family, and he loved them beyond measure.
Preceding him in death are his parents, William and Della; first wife, Karara Richard; his four brothers and one sister.
Those left here to carry on his legacy are his adored daughter, Carlotta (Mike) Prather; his fiancé and friend, Linda Walton; his best friend, Dan Trenkamp who was more like a brother to him; several nieces, nephews, and a host of great friends.
Dale will be laid to rest at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY at a later date.
