Obituary For Daniel Franklin Moose
Daniel Franklin Moose, 86, passed away on August 26, 2026. Born on April 6, 1940, in Newport, Kentucky, Daniel was the son of the late Wayne Otto Moose and Elsie Moose.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Otto Moose and Elsie Moose; his wife, Mary Jane (Voss) Moose; and his daughter-in-law, Sandra Moose.
He is survived by his children, Cindy (Timothy) Hogg, Steven (Sandra) Moose, Gary Moose, and Jennifer (Michael) Dames; his sisters, Laurie, Bonnie, and Julie; his grandchildren, Benjamin Hogg (Stephanie), Jacqueline ( Michael) Moore, Brandilyn (Eric) Medaugh, Sarah Moose, Amy Moose, Christopher Moose, Nicholas Dames, Nathan Dames, and Lindsey (Ray) Harper Dames; his cherished great-grandchildren, Timothy "Max" Medaugh, Andrew Medaugh, Thomas "William" Medaugh, Jaxon Medaugh, Silas Hogg, Waverly Hogg, Declan Moore, Aria Moose, Travis Moose, Madilyn Briggs, and Eleanor Moose; his dear friends and chosen family, Scott and Norma Pillion; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Daniel's memory to: Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, 205 Eibeck Lane, Williamstown, KY 41097.
