Obituary For David Aaron Lyons

David Aaron Lyons, 78, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on October 7, 1947, Aaron was the son of the late Dan and Arlene Lyons. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era, working in communications while stationed in Germany.

Aaron was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He and his wife, Kathy, were longtime and faithful members of Christ Chapel Assembly of God Church in Erlanger, Kentucky. Known for his remarkable skill and resourcefulness, Aaron was truly a “Jack of All Trades.” Whether it was home repair, woodworking, or computer work, there was little he couldn’t do with his hands and determination.

Above all, Aaron’s greatest joy in life was his family. He cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren, loving them more than anything else in the world.

Aaron is survived by his beloved wife of 38½ years, Kathy Lyons; his sons, Kris (Kayla) Lyons and Kaleb Lyons; his daughter, Keely (Justin Brierly) Lyons; his brother, Roy (Bill Richardson) Lyons; his sisters, Lonnie (Steve) Rega and Kathy Elkins; as well as eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
