David Freed born 6/5/1973 passed away 4/20/2026.

David was born in Norfolk, VA, on a naval base (mother) Diana Connley and (father) Howard Avery.

David graduated from Holmes high school in 1992 and immediately went into the field as an HVAC tech since age 16 at Holmes heating & air. David was loved and considered family where he worked.

David had 3 children - Alexander Freed, Andrew Freed, and Zoey (his Boston terrier dog who he loved with all his heart). David had two grandchildren Addisyn and Aalayah Freed. Siblings are Thomas and Tracy Freed, and had John and Kevin Freed as his uncles.

David was as blue collar as it gets, very intelligent and a skilled mechanic. He took extreme pride in his work and loved taking the time to see how mechanical things worked. He was a very hard worker and loved spending time with his grandkids and family. David was the most loving and caring individual anyone could’ve ever met. He never met a stranger, and would have given the shirt of his back for anyone.

David loved art, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, grilling good food, playing Xbox with his gamer buddies, and really loved riding his motorcycle. He always put others before himself and never gave up on the ones he loved. David really was a one of a kind by heart and will be missed by so many.
