Obituary For David Irby
David Alan Irby, 63, of Florence KY passed away October 20, 2026.
David was born in Huntington, West Virginia, to Nona Dew (Minter) and Jack Nathan Irby.
He was preceded in death by both his parents; numerous aunts and uncles; a niece, Sarah Elizabeth Paul; and a pre-born grandson, Joash Nathanael Oberschmidt.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Anita (Paul) Irby; five children, Lisa Tidball (Ernie), Grant Irby (Mary), Brenda Darling (Blaine), Monica Oberschmidt (Jason), and Trevor Irby; and grandchildren, Eric, Faith, and Ethan Tidball and Hezekiah and Ember Oberschmidt. He is also survived by two sisters, Donna McKeand (Robert) and Ditha Plants (Dorsol), three nephews, and one niece.
Services to be held at Northern Kentucky Baptist Church, 2681 Turkeyfoot Road, Lakeside Park, KY on Monday, October 26. Visitation from 10:00am to noon; funeral service at noon. Burial to follow at Independence Cemetery.
