David "Dave" Neil Searle, 79, of Wilder, passed away peacefully at home on February 17, 2026. Dave was born December 13, 1946 to Robert Searle and Thelma Bromilow (nee: Stinson) in Chicago, Illinois. He was a proud Army Veteran who flew helicopters in Vietnam. He also worked many years as a Master Electrician.

He was preceded in death by father, Robert Milten Searle, mother, Thelma Louise Bromilow, son, Jeffrey Searle, and daughter, Melissa Searle, sister, Norma Jean Novak, step-father, Newton Duke Woodrow, step-father, Roger Bromilow.

Dave is survived by his wife, Janet Searle, daughter, Kristy (Tony) James, step-son, Jason Embry, sister, Deborah (Mike) Pastorios, granddaughter, Felisha Houston, and 4 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Monday, February 23, 2026 at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Bellevue. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm at the Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home. A private military interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
