Obituary For David Russell Monday
David Russell Monday of St. Bernard was born on October 29, 1951, to George and Marjorie (nee Clements) Monday. He passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 74.
He was preceded in death by his mother Marjorie, his father George, and older brothers Frankie (Kathy) and Donny (Carol) and grandson Zachary Smith.
He is survived by his wife Kathy; his daughters Gina (Todd) Smith, Kellie (Rick) Murphy and Cheri (Eric) Scherpenberg; his son Matthew Durbin, his sister Denise (Ron) Evans; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 9:30am until 10:30am at St. Thomas Church (26 E. Villa Place) Ft. Thomas, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30am. A gathering will take place following Mass at the Armory building in Tower Park, located at 950 S. Ft. Thomas Ave., Ft. Thomas, KY 41075. Entrance to the park is off of both Pearson St. or River Rd. The door to the gathering is located on the side of the building, facing the main park area and amphitheater towards the front of the building.
