Obituary For Debra Ann Oder
Debra Ann (Hatfield) Oder, 69, of Southgate, Kentucky, passed away on May 31st, 2026. She was born on September 29th, 1956, in Burlington, Kentucky.
Ann will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and dog mom. Ann was known as Mama Bear to her family because she was the glue that held everyone together. She always made sure birthdays and holidays were special and memorable by putting her special touches on them, in a way that only she could do. If not in her garden, you could find her baking, making delicious meals, cheering on the Bengals, and loving on her dog, Chloe. She built her life around nurturing her family and always put them above herself.
Ann is survived by her loving husband Cecil Oder. Her children, Steven Oder (Lanette Oder), of Conway, Arkansas, Jeremy Oder of Fort Wright, Kentucky, Christina Maddy (Sean Maddy), of Alexandria, Kentucky, Steven Taylor of Newport, Kentucky, and her grandson, Liam Oder.
She is survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters, Rick Hatfield, Mark Hatfield, Billy Harter, Becky Noll, and Tammy Christian. She is preceded in death by her parents, Margie (Tucker) Harter and Edgar Hatfield, her sister, Rita Harris, and her brother, Michael Hatfield.
A drop-in remembrance will be held on Wednesday, June 10th, 2026, from 1:30-4:30 pm at the Southgate Community Center, 301 West Walnut Street, Southgate, Kentucky 41071.
