Delbert “Glen” Sales, aged 83, of Union, KY who was born on June 5, 1940, peacefully passed away on May 11, 2024, at Rosedale Green in Latonia, KY. He was a Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife Janice Sales, stepbrother Phil (Millie) Burk, son Martin Sales, son Shannon (Nikki) Sales, grandchildren Cameron (Morgan) Sales, Krystalyn (AI) Pacheco, Sabrina (Chance) Skelton and Kylee Rose Sales, and stepchildren Samantha (Marc) Bozarth, Leah (Carl) Quesinberry, Amanda (Bobby) Kindoll, and Ryan (Tiffany) Bowman and step grandchildren William Gabriel (Shyann) Robinson, Bret Robinson, Michaela (Christian) Nealy, Ashley Keitz, Dalton Kramer, Cole Tacket, Jack Bozarth, Abby Kindoll, Addison Bowman, Austin Quesinberry, Kelsey Bozarth, Ava Kindoll, Aubrey Kindoll and Rome Bowman. Professionally, Glen was in sales all his working years but was most proud of his work while working for Ascent Aviation Group, Inc. which became a subsidiary of World Fuel Services, Inc. He never met a person where he did not see the goodness in them and his power to encourage and build up those around him was his superpower. His love for his work was matched only by his passion for his faith and for fishing. His joy was found on the lake in his boat with his family and friends. Glen was an individual beloved by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held Saturday June 29, 2024, at 11am with military honors to follow at Linnemann Funeral Homes, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY followed by a Celebration of Life to be held at 1612 Creekview Drive, Florence, KY. In the hearts of those who loved him, Glen will forever be remembered for his warmth, his humor, and his unwavering love and devotion to his family. May he rest in eternal peace.
