Obituary For Delores Fay Pelgen
Delores Fay Pelgen, 92, of Cold Spring, passed away on March 24, 2026, at Highlandspring Nursing Home Fort Thomas, KY. She was born on January 11, 1934, to the late Melvin and Ola (nee Van Vactor) Whitehouse in Louisville, KY.
Fay was a graduate of Newport High School. She worked in a clerical position with Deaconess Hospital in Cincinnati for many years. Fay loved to travel all over the country with her family and friends. She loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, William "Peck" Pelgen.
Fay is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Sandhas, Janice (John) Freudenberg; granddaughters, Natalie (Danny Barone) Sandhas, Hayley (Mitch) Miller, Elizabeth (Bruce) Freudenberg Beil, Meredith (Kyle) Freudenberg Doebrich, Lydia (Casey) Little; as well as great grandchildren Harlow and Thatcher.
A private service to be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Erlanger, KY. Memorials are suggested to the Cincinnati Children's PO Box 5202 Cincinnati, OH 45201-5202.
