Dereck Isham, 56 years of age, of Independence, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024. Dereck was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Pearl Jean Allen and the late Daniel Isham. Dereck leaves behind his loving wife of 28 years, Donna Isham; son, Dustin Isham and daughter, Deanna Isham. He also leaves behind his brothers, Daniel Isham (Mattie) and Donnie Isham; half-sisters, Janet Dixon, Geneva Richardson and Kendra Isham; nephews, Jason Dilworth and Stefan Isham; niece, Cortney Isham; and many cousins, extended family members and dear friends; as well as his loving dog, Shadow. He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Isham and his beloved dog, Midnight. Dereck liked to work, his early career was with Bell Moving and Storage as an over the road truck driver and later enjoyed 12 years at the Mazak Corporation. He enjoyed golf, football, traveling with his family and entertaining friends and family. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. at Stith Funeral Home, 7500 US HWY 42, Florence, KY 41042.
