Obituary For Dolores Marie Hellmann

Surrounded by her daughters, Dolores Marie Hellmann (née Cahill) entered into eternal rest on June 12, 2026, at the age of 88.

Dolores “Doe” lived a life rooted in faith, family, and quiet strength. She was the devoted wife of the late Donald Hellmann, with whom she shared a lifetime of love. Together they raised five daughters— Barbara Weckenbrock (Mark), Susan O’Donnell (Patrick), Lynn Becker, Sharon Wessels (Carlo), and Jacqueline Schuler (The late Joseph)—who were the joy of her life. Dolores was blessed with sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great‑grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense pride.

She is reunited in heaven with her husband; her parents, John and Agnes Cahill (nee Franxman); and her eight brothers, Gene (Florence) Cahill, Howard (Helen) Cahill, Richard (Mary) Cahill, Norbert Cahill, Vincent (Katherine) Cahill, John R. Cahill, Raymond (Janet) Cahill, and William Cahill.

Visitation will be Tuesday June 16, 2026, from 8:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am, at Blessed Sacrament Church. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery.

Memorial gifts may be directed to the Diocesan Catholic Children’s Home (DCCH), 75 Orphanage Road, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017, or a charity of your choice.
