Donald W. Mee, 78, of Crittenden, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born to the late Robert Warren and Addie Jean Mee, Donald was a devoted husband, father, Papaw, brother, and friend.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 51 years, Marsha Mee; his loving children, Robert Warren Mee, II (Kristy) and Megan Lynn Mee Longo (Jimmy Gosney); and his three adored grandchildren, Matthew Mee, Kinley Longo, and Gabriel Brickell. Donald is also survived by his sister, Nancy Pugh (Keith), and his niece, Tara Brocker (Dallas).

A proud Vietnam veteran, Donald honorably served in the United States Army. He loved his country deeply and carried his service with enduring pride.

Donald enjoyed classical music and had a passion for writing poetry. Above all, his greatest joy was the time he spent with his grandchildren. He truly never met a stranger—his warm, friendly nature drew people to him, and he loved everyone he met. He also shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Sophie.

Donald proudly served as a security guard at Amazon, where he treasured the friendship of his Amazon family.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
